Reducing the Burden on our Families Caused by Inflation and Taxes

Maine’s tax burden is one of the highest in the nation. Thats got to change. We need to get this undercontrol to help our families and allow our small businesses to thrive.

If we set aside politics and work together, we can lower taxes without cutting critical services.

Standing Up for Small Business

As a small business owner, I know how difficult it can be to navigate government red tape. Small businesses are the lifeblood of the Maine economy, but Maine consistently ranks as one of the worst states in which to do business. This has got to change.  When our small businesses succeed, our communities succeed. We need to do everything we can to help our small businesses succeed. In Augusta, I’ll fight for our small businesses every day.

Making Our Schools the BEST Schools

Our kids deserve the best education possible. But Maine’s schools were ranked the worst in the nation this year. That’s unacceptable. We need to realign our educational priorities, so our kids are prepared for success when they become adults. This means a greater focus on career paths, stronger support for our trade programs, and a commitment to getting Maine’s schools back on top.
