Thursday, May 23th, 2025, Scarborough, Maine – The next Maine legislature faces a growing list of challenges, from inflation to housing costs and education achievements. The Maine House of Representatives has three representatives from Scarborough, including the seat Kayla is running for District 125.

“I look forward to representing Scarborough in the Maine House of Representatives. Amid political dysfunction, I can promise to keep my district in mind and forge bipartisan relationships that benefit the district,” said Kayla.

Kayla is a native Maine resident and graduate of Deering High School and the University of Southern Maine. She launched her career in residential real estate in 2020 and swiftly earned top producer in 2022 and 2023. As a young business owner who works with home buyers, she recognizes the struggles of buying a home in Southern Maine.

“There’s a disconnect between Augusta’s policies that can and should impact our housing policy. We must balance regulations with the needs of people who want to live here. Every decision should consider the long-term impact and the short-term needs of residents,” said Kayla.

Kayla enjoys Maine’s outdoor amenities, including skiing, hiking, and spending time with her beloved golden retriever “Jackson.”

“I’m fortunate to have found a home in Scarborough. We have the ideal setting of pristine beaches, a short distance to the mountains, and safe neighborhoods that are building strong communities,” said Kayla.
